Flew to Vegas on February 26, 2026 to climb with Mike T. He drove down from Montana. We both got there around noon so had a few hours to climb. We drove to the second pullout from the scenic loop road and climbed a handful of routes at Calico Hills in the Black Corridor area.
Idiot Parade (5.10c) - Short but interesting, not the greatest warm-up. We both fell at the crux near the third clip.
Vagabonds (5.10a) - Pretty chill.
Foe (5.11a) - I tried to go straight through the bulge rather than traverse around it to the left. I fell during my first attempt at this move, then succeeded with a heel hook out left on the second try. The climbing is easier after the bulge.
