| Kenton leans back near the top of Edges to Ledges |
Climbed at Mt. Yonah with Will on Tuesday April 23.
Edges to Ledges (5.7). Chill. Couldn't figure out the best way to go for a 2nd pitch. Ended up going left around a wall and then up to the top. We bushwacked our way down to the bottom instead of rappeling. Clearly we didn't find the intended descent route. Now I have poison ivy.
Some 10a or other (bailed). Way too scary. Long runout off the deck.
Dihedral (5.6). Interesting start for 15 feet or so, then not so memorable.
Snake Route (5.9). The only hard thing about this climb was at the start.
Overall I find that the climbing at Mt. Yonah is always a good bit harder than I expect it to be. Either that, or the protection on the harder climbs just isn't good enough for me to want to try them.
